Maria Cucciniello

Maria Cucciniello is an Associate Professor in the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management at Bocconi University. She has collaborated with SDA Bocconi since 2006. She has managed research and training projects with major organizations.

Her research focuses on e-health and e-government, the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the healthcare and public sectors, transparency in public administration, change management and organizational redesign aimed at introducing new information systems, and the evolution of managerial practices in public administration.

She is the author of numerous essays and articles on these topics. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, Journal of Medical Internet Research, Social Science Computer Review, Economia & Management, and Mecosan. She serves as a reviewer for several academic journals, including Health Policy, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, and Azienda Pubblica. She is a member of the editorial board of the Review of Public Administration and Management and has been appointed New Researchers Coordinator of the International Research Society for Public Management.

Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Public Administrations and International Institutions from Bocconi University, and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Edinburgh.
