Lukas Hemmers-Pauly is a doctoral researcher at the Charité Center for Global Health, pursuing a doctorate in theoretical biology at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, and serves as an epidemiologist at the Robert Koch Institute.

His research focuses on the AI-driven integration of social behavioral data into infectious disease models. His additional areas of expertise include epidemiological surveillance, and assessment of international health crises. 

He holds M.Sc. degrees in Epidemiology from Charité and Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience from Maastricht University and has completed the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) at the State Health Office in Berlin, Germany.
